About cbd
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally-occurring constituent of Industrial Hemp (Cannabis Sativa L.) plants. It is the most abundant cannabinoid found in cannabis and is being scientifically researched for many benefits. CBD is non-psychoactive and does not make you “high”.
The CBD oil we offer has a couple of different applications. You can hold a sublingual dose under the tongue for 30-60 seconds (recommended for fastest absorption), apply the oil topically to your skin (can be applied directly to a problem area or mixed with your favorite moisturizer) or if you don’t like the taste, you can mix it with your food or drink. For more information you can read our CBD guide.
Due to regulations, we cannot make any medical claims about whether or not natural CBD oil can help with specific ailments. However we urge everyone to research the widely available information online. You can easily find many resources about CBD oil and its possible benefits.
CBD and other cannabinoids (CBDA, CBG, CBDV, ..), as well as terpenes, present together, produce what is known as an entourage effect. All cannabinoids and terpenes are working synergistically, thus increasing the healing properties of each.
A study published by the Lautenberg Center for Immunology and Cancer Research, which aimed its focus on the effectiveness of CBD isolate compared to full-plant extract, supported this concept, stating in its summary that “in all of the tests, the isolated CBD was ineffective both before and after a certain dosage, while the effectiveness of the full-spectrum solution continued to increase as higher doses were administered. The results all indicate that CBD is only effective against swelling and pain at a certain dose, and that cannabis solutions containing a full range of cannabinoids will continue to provide corresponding effects as the dosage is increased.”
Our organic CBD oil is third party laboratory tested, to ensure an accurate amount of CBD+CBDa. In addition, it is tested for over 200 pesticides, herbicides, mold, fungi, heavy metals, and mycotoxins – to ensure the best quality and consistency.
It is very important that hemp extracts are tested and we kindly advise you to choose only the ones that are.
We sell full-spectrum CBD oils. We use a whole plant extract that is rich in cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial oils delivering you a potent full-spectrum hemp extract.
There are 3 main types of CBD on the market: full-spectrum CBD oil, broad spectrum CBD oil and CBD isolate.
Full-spectrum CBD oils contain all the naturally occuring cannabinoids and have no more than 0,2% THC. It saves all the goodness of the hemp plant just as nature intended.
Broad spectrum CBD oil is more or less full-spectrum except it is refined further to remove as much THC as possible from the final product. High temperatures are used to degrade THC which in consequence degrades the final product, leaving you with only some naturally occuring compounds. Final product has a maximum of 0,05% THC.
CBD isolate is made by removing all the compounds from the hemp plant and leaving you with only one compound – CBD. Final product has 0% THC.
