What is CBD (Cannabidiol)?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the phytocannabinoid of some 100+ found in the Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) plant. Recently there is an increasing interest in the medicinal potential of CBD, that is not psychoactive (does not get you high) and even in high doses does not cause unpleasant side-effects like some chemical drugs do.
What else is in our CBD Oil?
Our oils are full spectrum, unheated (not decarboxylated), meaning that you get all the goodness of the hemp plant – just as nature created it – all 100+ phytocannabinoids (CBD, CBDA, CBGA, CBG, CBDV, CBN…), all vitamins that are lost when heated, minerals, omegas, terpenes and flavonoids. It contains no more than 0,2% of THC (phytocannabinoid that gets you high in high doses) and is within the limits of European Union regulations, making it fully legal and non-psychoactive.
How is our oil produced?
Cannabis Sativa (Industrial Hemp) plants from certified European industrial hemp cultivars are extracted using a supercritical CO2 extraction method. This produces a pure hemp extract without any chemicals and it only uses CO2 (just like plants do). Making it a sustainable and planet Earth friendly way of extraction.
Will 0,2% THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) affect me?
Cannabis Sativa plant (Industrial Hemp) has trace amounts of THC (no more than 0,2%) and it is nowhere near to get you “high”.
